Cape Town has a myriad of spots to get fit cost-free. It is by far the great place to get fit in nature whether you opt to hike, jog or train outside. This is the reason we appreciate the Sea Point promenade outdoor gym.
It was “designed with maximum safety in mind and is suitable for adults of all ages and fitness levels,” according to the City of Cape Town.
Besides the beautifully manicured grass in and around the park, the seafront views, it is the equipment at this facility that we simply cannot shake off. Seeing is believing right?

Go on then, head over to the outdoor gym for some good old bodyweight and strength training with the equipment provided for and maintained by Play on Art.
Tone those muscles on horizontal ladders while crushing some pull-ups and/or chin-ups. While you are at it, work legs and glutes while smashing leg lifts or reverse sit-ups also on the ladders.
We suggest you also make use of leg presses, the air skier, gym rings and a cross trainer available at your convenience.
