Cape Town residents looking for a cultural outing with family and friends can add the Cape Town Korean Cultural Festival to their November plans.
Taking place at Groote Schuur High School in Newlands, the festival will offer visitors an opportunity to explore Korean culture through food, performances and interactive activities.
From traditional and modern entertainment to hands-on cultural experiences, the programme will give attendees different ways to engage with Korean culture without leaving the Mother City.
Korean food, performances and more
Food will be one of the attractions, with Korean cuisine featuring as part of the day’s programme. Visitors can also look forward to traditional and modern performances, bringing different forms of Korean entertainment together at the festival.
Those who enjoy browsing market stalls will have a flea market to explore, while hands-on cultural experiences will allow visitors to participate in activities beyond watching the performances.
There will also be a lucky draw with prizes, adding another attraction to the day’s festivities.
A cultural outing for family and friends
The festival presents an opportunity for Cape Town residents to spend time together while discovering aspects of another culture.
Whether visitors are interested in trying Korean food, enjoying the entertainment or taking part in cultural activities, there will be several attractions to explore throughout the day.
