Cape Town’s Disaster services have been receiving and responding to reports of mudslides, flooding and uprooted trees caused by another cold front that hit the Mother City on Thursday.
According to News24, the disaster risk agencies were all on high alert as wind forces increased and heavy rain began to fall.

A spokesperson for Disaster Risk Management, Charlotte Powell reported that all agencies were ready and waiting to deal with any weather-related concerns thrown their way.
Hospital Bend was affected by mudslides while Anzio road was flooded. All motorists were urged to drive slowly and keep a safe following distance, while traffic officials were along the roadside for any emergencies.
