Sixteen-year-old Nastal Mkhonto, from Kraaifontein, Cape Town, disappeared on Christmas day. The authorities have requested the public’s assistance in providing any information that might help them locate him and return him safely home.

According to a media statement published by SAPS, the teenager was last seen in the Covid informal settlement in Bloekombos at around 9.30am on Sunday, 25 December.
Mkhonto is said to be intellectually disabled.
Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi said Mkhonto was last seen wearing yellow shorts with black and red slippers, an orange T-shirt with the words “Covid 19” written on the back, and a black jacket.
