Cape Town International Airport is the world’s third-best international airport, according to global airport rankings.

This is according to AirHelp’s findings, which advocate on passengers’ behalf by filing customer service claims for flight disruptions such as cancellations, delays, and lost luggage.
AirHelp assessed and ranked 194 of the world’s biggest and best-known airports from its database of over 4 000 airports during the period from January 1 to September 30, 2023.
It looked at information on each airport’s on-time performance, combined it with passenger insight on the facilities and experience of using the airports and scored these airports based on these factors.
The airports were graded on a scale of ten, with Cape Town International Airport receiving an overall AirHelp score of 8.48.
According to the list, Cape International Airport is the best airport in Africa, as it is the only one in the top ten.
Brazil has the most best-ranked airports, with four, followed by Japan, which has three best-ranked international airports.
