Nicola Barrett has been appointed the South African Women’s coach for the World Aquatics World Cup in Berlin.

She is a member of the Cape Town Water Polo Committee and is also the coach of the Reddam House Constantia Girls first team. According to Cape Town Water Polo, Barrett coached the South African under-16 girls at the World Under-16 Championships in Greece. ‘She brings many years of experience as a senior SA player, as well as USA College water polo experience as a player. We wish Nicola and her team all the very best for the tournament.’
The Cape Town Water Polo team, which is participating in the World Cup, is represented by: Nicola Barrett (head coach), Ryan Weideman (assistant coach), Jabulabi Sibiya (manager), Amber Penney (player, Warriors), Meghan Maartens (player, Warriors), Ruby Versfeld (player, Warriors) and Annie Thornton-Dibb (player, Maties).
