A regional court date has been set for 28 July in the case against five suspects connected to the disappearance of German tourist Nick Frischke.

Tuesday saw the suspects appear in Wynberg Magistrates Court when the matter was postponed to later this month.
They previously admitted to robbing the victim on Valentine’s Day while he was hiking in Hout Bay.
They have, however, denied any involvement in his disappearance.

A private security company has been hired by Nick Frischke’s family to assist with the investigation into his disappearance.
Frischke is thought to have left his Airbnb in Pinelands on foot and never returned.
The five suspects were apprehended in possession of his backpack and cell phone, among other items.
A reward of R20 000 has been made available to anyone with information regarding his whereabouts.
