The Department of Health announced today [April 14] that the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in South Africa has increased to 2415.
Yesterday, the number of confirmed cases was 2272. This means there has been an increase of 143 since the previous update.
To date, the number of tests conducted is 87 022.
The provincial breakdown is as follows:
Gauteng: 909
Western Cape: 643
KwaZulu-Natal: 489
Eastern Cape: 174
Free State: 98
Limpopo: 24
Mpumalanga: 22
North West: 22
Northern Cape: 16
