As lockdown and quarantine around the world continues a new trend of dressing up for bin collection day has sparked joy across the globe.

A trend that originated in Australia is catching on as more people are celebrating their #binday by dressing up to take out the trash.

It’s true, 2020 is the year that your bin goes out more than you do and people are not letting it get them down.

The trend has encouraged people from Queensland to Cape Town to dress up in their best clothes or a little silly number while taking out their dustbins.

Since it started, the trend has picked up in popularity with whole families joining in on the fun, and even a few eccentric characters.

Have a giggle or let yourself smile a little, while you’re staying home and staying safe, by enjoying the unique and entertaining outfits the world has to offer on #binday.

You guys knew this was coming…😆 . Okay so maybe not a duo BUT if you want to take out the trash, you gotta also be in the picture. It’s only fair, right? 😜 . Anyway, Mr. Perect is totally stealing the show today… But let me leave it up to you guys… . Awaken your inner Joan Rivers (a.k.a @shante_hutton 😘) and let us know; WHO wore it best?😂💃🏻🕺🏻 . #pillowchallenge. Thanks for the nomination @jancke_strydom and @our_wild_child ❤️ . . . . . . . . . #trashday #trashcollection #isolation #lockdown #feelingfabulous #alldressedupandnowheretogo #ootdinspiration #southafricanwomen #southafricanfashion #wednesdaymotivation #highheelslover #binday #takingoutthetrash #lockdown2020 #isolationstyle #justamamma #justforlaughs #justforfun #momswithstyle #absolutelyfabulous #selfcarethread #keepingthesparkalive #highschoolsweethearts #husbandandwifeteam #lovehim #coupletime #couplesofinstagram

Taking out the TRASH literally and figuratively. And I thought it needs to be celebrated 🥂 We carry so much, that never was ours to carry at all! . . . To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. Isaiah 61:3 O He gives us beauty for ashes! May we display His splendor always🙌 . . . Swipe right, inspired by my favorite mom blog @justamamma, you rock 👌👸 . . . #owningit #owningit . . . . . #trashday #trashcollection #isolation #lockdown21 #feelingfabulous #alldressedupandnowheretogo #ootd #ootdinspo #southafricanwomen #southafrican #binday #takingoutthetrash #southafricanfashion #wednesdaymotivation #highheelslover #champagne #cheerstoisolation #champagnelife

| BIN DAY | Said to the kids, let’s dress up. They were like why? I said, we are taking the bins out. I was inspired by Helen @mamalovestoshare + a FB group called “Bin Isolation Outing” (SWIPE 👈 to see my Video). If you need a laugh today, check them out. We can make this time at home lighthearted and fun. P.S. my kids didn’t get the 1.5m social distancing memo 😂 Oh and today is Thursday and tomorrow my bins come so just a reminder to take your bins out if they come on a Friday. P.P.S. this Forever New dress is 10 years old, I wore it to hubbys 30th birthday party at Hooters 😂😂 . . . . . . #binday #isolife #isolation #wholetthebinsout #binsgooutmorethanIdo #addictedtobargains #shoppingaddict #unicornlife #unicorn #funmum #mumlife
