The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) won two gold awards and one silver in the prestigious Eventex Global Awards – and was named the People’s Choice Destination for venues that stand out from the rest.

The CTICC clinched the following awards:
- Gold in the categories of African Destination: Best African Events Destination and the International Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) Destination.
- Silver for the categories of Versatile Venue, which awards the centre’s ability to adapt and accommodate a variety of types and sizes of events.
- The People’s Choice Destination, as voted for by the public, is for venues that stand out from the rest.

An Eventex award is the highest honour in the events and experiential marketing industry. It celebrates innovation, creativity and effectiveness.
This year, winners were selected from a pool of 1 207 submissions, spanning 62 countries across six continents.
The CTICC, renowned for its consistent global acclaim, has garnered several prestigious awards over the past three years.
These include awards for service excellence, sustainability, event and exhibition venue, and recognition for its leadership.
