Young actor, Angus Cloud, best known for his role as Fezco ‘Fez’ O’neil in HBO’s hit teen drama, Euphoria, has died at the age of 25 on Monday – a week after burying his father.
It was confirmed by his publicist that Cloud died at his family home in Oakland, California. Speculations about a possible overdose have been made, but no cause of death has been given or confirmed.

According to his family, Cloud suffered from mental health issues and was struggling with the loss of his father, who was described as his ‘best friend’ in a statement to Variety.
The family expressed that the only comfort they now have is knowing he is now ‘reunited with his dad, who was his best friend’.
Cloud attended his father’s funeral in Ireland last week.
‘Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence,’ said the statement.
The family request privacy from the public at this time as they process the loss.
While Cloud had minor acting credits in two films, The Line and North Hollywood, as well as in music videos for several artists, including Becky G, Karol G and Juice WRLD, it was Euphoria that landed him his breakthrough role in 2019.
The Oakland-born actor quickly became a fan favourite on Euphoria, playing Fez, an intense high school drug dealer with a kind heart and moral code, after being scouted on the street in Brooklyn.
We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time. pic.twitter.com/PLqkz5Rshc

The hit series won numerous awards, including two Emmys and a Golden Globe for co-star Zendaya, and was centred around a group of California high school students dealing with sex, drugs and violence.
‘We hope the world remembers him for his humour, laughter and love for everyone,’ concluded the family.
