The ever-popular Blisters for Bread Charity Family Fun Walk is set to take place along the scenic Sea Point Promenade and Beach Road this Sunday, 27 August, and will see walkers of all shapes, ages and fitness levels treading two routes in support of the Peninsula School Feeding Association.
Following the event’s challenge to literally step out of their comfort zone, some walkers may even be spotted risking a blister to create much-needed awareness around child hunger by taking on the 10-kilometre or 5-kilometre challenge barefoot.
