A concerned Kraaifontein woman is offering a R10 000 reward to ensure the safe return of her beloved cat, Zoe. The cat is one year old, and is a Persian Chinchilla.

Owner Paula Van Zyl has reared Zoe since she was a small kitten and was very upset when she realised the cat had slipped out of their home and possibly, their gated complex, located in Langeberg Ridge on Friday, October 30.

Speaking to IOL, Van Zyl said that Zoe is a bubbly cat and a big part of the family. “We really miss her and just want her back home with us, safe and sound. Zoe is a unique cat and even has a great bond with my partner Dieter. She loves to cuddle with him and often takes her naps in his arms or on his chest. We all really miss her and would welcome any help in finding her,” she said.

Zoe has been missing since October 30, and her family is desperate to get her home safe.

The cat has a white, fluffy coat with silver tips and bright green eyes.

The Van Zyl family has also been in contact with several organisations and animal safety groups to help track Zoe down.

“Please if you see or come across Zoe let us know. We just want her back home with us,” she said.
