UPDATE: Martin has been found safe and unharmed.
Martin Mapfumo, a 13-year-old boy has gone missing in Cape Town, and his family are urgently looking for him. He was last seen leaving his home in Sunnydale on the morning of Wednesday June 10 at about 10.30am. He was wearing a black hoodie, brown pants and takkies. He has brown hair, brown eyes and is of slim build.
His father, Eric Mapfumo, told Cape Town ETC that they had gotten into an argument that morning and Martin left their home. Mapfumo has since gotten a report that Martin was seen in Fish Hoek around the main road and taxi rank on his way to Kalk Bay. Another person contacted him to say they saw Martin in Kalk Bay.
Martin is still missing, and his family are in Kalk Bay today searching for him. A missing person’s docket has been opened. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact 078 552 9297 or 083 442 9284.
