Police officers are currently combing the scene of a business robbery that occurred at a cellphone chop in Maynard Mall in Wynberg.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Malcolm Pojie, the incident occurred at around 11:05am.

‘Preliminary information suggests that five men of whom one was armed with a firearm entered the shop and [held] the staff at gunpoint,’ he told Cape {town} Etc.
‘They forced staff members to show them where the stock [was] kept whereafter they [fled] the scene with an undisclosed quantity of cellular phones.’
No injuries were sustained and no arrests have been made. The suspects are still at large.
