The worldwide smash hit Jerusalema by South African musician Master KG featuring female artist Nomcebo Zikode has hit 100-million views on Youtube.

The popular song has topped the charts for months, and has also spurred a viral trend called the #JerusalemaChallenge where people across the globe match the musicians music video moves and dance to the infectious beat.

Master KG took to social media to express his happiness over this massive milestone.

“This is just amazing … It’s also humbling to see the speed at which it travels. When we reached 50 million views last month nobody would have predicted that in four weeks it would have doubled. This is testament that when Jesus says yes, nobody can say no. This has gone beyond us and it’s marvellous to watch,” Master KG told TshisaLIVE.

Celebrities like Bonang Matheba, Cassper Nyovest and DJ Fresh joined thousands of other South Africans in congratulating the musician on this accomplishment.

According to Master KG, the dance challenge that has sparked craze around the world started in Angola when a group of friends recorded a video of the dance choreography that has since gone viral.

It seems like everyone has gotten in on this fun new challenge, from nuns and healthcare workers to sport stars. Here are a few of our favourites:
