American singer, Meat Loaf has passed away at the age of 74.
The Grammy winner is hailed for having one of the best selling albums of all time – Bat Out Of Hell – with the news confirmed by his family on Friday via his Facebook Page.
The cause of death is still unknown, however, the singer’s daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends had a chance to spend time with him before saying their farewells over the last 24-hours, read the statement.
The award-winning singer sold over 100 million albums globally and appeared in movies like Fight Club and the Rocky Horror Picture Show, as per BBC.
Along with a host of incredible achievements, he also earned a Grammy Award for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance for his song I’d Do Anything for Love.
