The National Sea Rescue Institute’s Station 16 in Strandfontein was burgled last night, Saturday, 27 May 2023. The organisation has issued a plea to the public to keep a lookout for its vessel that was stolen during the burglary.

If you happen to come across a marked NSRI Rescue 16A vessel, please contact the NSRI immediately – A statement read: ‘We kindly request your assistance in spreading this message to as many people as possible. Your help is greatly appreciated in recovering the stolen vessel.’
