A Parow man was found murdered, with his hands and feet bound, in his home on Sunday evening [January 24].

According to South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana, police discovered the tied-up man in his home on General Hendrick Schoeman Street in Welgelegan, Parow. It is believed that the man was attacked between 9pm and 10pm on Sunday evening.

“He had stab wounds to his body and he was declared dead on scene,” Rwexana said. “The circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation, with no arrests at this stage.”

The victim was 58-years-old at the time of death.
