The South African Police Services (SAPS) has identified the suspects involved in the armed robbery which took place at Hillsong Church in Century City last month. The suspects’ images were caught on surveillance cameras.

“According to information two suspects, one armed, entered the church and robbed the employees in the premises of their cellphones. The circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation,” SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana, said at the time of the incident.

She stated that it was not a hostage situation.

“On 2018-10-29 at around 11:00, two armed suspects gained entrance to a church in Century City, Milnerton, by pretending to do a delivery. They held staff at gunpoint, whereafter they fled the scene with cash and cellular telephones. They are now wanted on a charge of armed robbery,” SAPS spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Andrè Traut, said today.

Images of the two suspects are shown below.
