An investigation is underway following the discovery of two burnt bodies at a sports field on Sunday morning, January 26.
According to the Western Cape SAPS, a case of murder has been opened. Police are currently looking for any information regarding the identity of the two bodies as well as any information about the incident.
“A double murder case has been opened for investigation after two bodies of unidentified people were found burnt yesterday morning about 07:20 at Italy Sports field, Hillview,” said Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana.
