A 43-year-old woman whose name is currently withheld will appear before the Cape Town Magistrates’ Court today.

The suspect is accused of stealing R15 million from her employer by putting customer payments into her own account.
According to IOL, the Cape Town-based woman was arrested on 2 February 2023 by the Western Cape Commercial Crimes unit.
SAPS spokesperson, Ndakhe Gwala, said, “The suspect was responsible for managing and processing foreign creditors. She convinced clients to deposit company funds into her personal account, and as a result, the company incurred a loss of R15 million.”
