A newly-added function on WhatsApp is making the lives of drivers across the country so much easier, as you can use it to renew your license disc. Business platform Infobip has recently launched a partnership with WhatsApp, which allows businesses to better connect with its clients.

According to Infobip, the service is open to all car owners in the country and states that the renewal process will take only two minutes to complete. This cuts out the need for drivers to wait in line in long queues.

“We see many use cases for WhatsApp Business API, but we are always on the lookout for those that are special and can change people’s lives,” Craig Greenwood Selby, Infobip’s MD in South Africa, said to BusinessTech. “There are many regular payment platforms and apps, but when we established what ChatFin wanted to achieve, we were extremely excited as it opens up a brand-new market for ‘convenience’ in South Africa.”

WhatsApp is the world’s most widely used chat app, and has 1.6-billion users across 180 countries. The WhatsApp channel verification includes a green check mark to ensure that customers quickly recognise the verified dialogue and assure that its customers are communicating with the right business partner to avoid incidences of fraud.

Users can access the ChatBack function by clicking here to get started.
