The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility Directorate has advised residents and road users that roadworks along various roads in Kenwyn commenced today, 17 July, and will take place over the next two months.
The directorate added that the roadwork forms part of regular maintenance to prolong the longevity of the City’s road network and encourages that road users consider alternative routes where possible.

The resurfacing and other maintenance work is planned to take place between 7am and 5:30pm from Monday to Friday until 11 September 2023.
Due to the risk of congestion along Range Road and Racecourse Road during weekdays, sections of the roadworks have been scheduled for night time and weekends.
