As South Africa’s weather takes an intriguing twist, the Western Cape woke up to snowfall blanketed over several high-lying regions, which can be seen in Ceres, Little Karoo and Worcester (to name a few).
The good folks at Matroosberg Reserve have shared the joy in abundance on Facebook.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has also reported snowfall in other provinces, including the Northern Cape.
Meanwhile, north-eastern regions of the continent are experiencing hot, dry and windy weather. KwaZulu-Natal’s disaster management teams are on standby for fires.
SAWS clarified that the cooler weather will reach these areas tomorrow as temperatures drop around Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga.

Good morning. A bit of a chilly office view. Rain and snow throughout the night and beautiful views this morning. Cheers ☕️☕️😁😁 pic.twitter.com/3SCvHxJSZd
