The Cape of Good Hope (CoGH) SPCA has once again secured guaranteed entries for the Cape Town Cycle Tour 2020 on the 8th of March 2020 – there’s no easier way of securing your race day!

“Already entered? No problem – just give us a call and we can transfer your entry to #TEAMSPCA just like that,” the CoGH SPCA said.

Cycling for #TEAMSPCA means joining a truly special family of animal lovers whose incredible efforts give rescue animals a second chance at life!

“This year your much-needed funds will help us provide a stimulating play area for our animals which is just as important as food & water. The health benefits of these exercise pods range widely, but include helping hip joints, reducing digestive problems, and keeping our animals at a healthy weight, which decreases the likelihood of developing other health problems. Exercise also helps control behavioural problems and may prevent destructive habits for healthier and happier pets,” the organisation said. “It couldn’t be easier to enter and be part of the change. You simply make your pledge to raise a minimum of R3 000 for the CoGH SPCA.”

This will cover your race entry, a high-quality cycling shirt sponsored by Ultra Dog and Bayer, as well as a few exclusive extras. The Top 3 fundraisers will each win a Shredder MTB helmet sponsored by Titan Racing, a Bike Addict t-shirt, a pair of cycle socks and a water bottle sponsored by Bike Addict.

The top 10 fundraisers of Team SPCA will each receive a pair of cycle sunglasses kindly sponsored by Bondiblu and a tubby bag sponsored by Cape Town Cycles.

So whether you’re an easy-breezy biker or a tour de force rider, the CoGH SPCA invites you to be the change in an animal’s life by taking up the challenge!
