South Africans know how to celebrate, but no one celebrated the Springbok’s world cup win better than Faf de Klerk.
The team’s scrum-half has been at the centre of many memes throughout the tournament but videos and pictures of him drinking beer from the Web Ellis cup and shaking hands with Prince Harry while wearing a South African flag speedo have the internet in stitches.
There is even a video circulating showing one of the boys handing the Duke of Sussex a beer and challenging him to “down” it, with Harry laughingly declining, then pointing to the camera as if to say he would have, if not for the camera. Harry congratulated the team and had a few words, saying he could not think of a nation who needed it more.
