Cape Town police are still searching for a woman who is suspected of orchestrating the death of her husband, who was murdered more than a year ago. Maneli Jobela was a police constable, and his wife, Qaqamba Qayisa, is one of three individuals who was accused of his murder.

“On October 6, 2017 at about 3.30am, the body of Constable Maneli Jobela was found inside his vehicle in Oliver Tambo Drive, Samora Machel. He had a gunshot wound to the back of his head,” South African Police Services (SAPS) told TimesLIVE this week.

The other two suspects were arrested, but Qayisa was never found.

“A warrant of arrest was issued for 32-year-old Qayisa, who is the wife of the deceased. We have reason to believe that she could be in the Eastern Cape. All information will be treated confidentially,” SAPS said.
