Update:
SANParks – Table Mountain National Park has announced that the maintenance work at Lion’s Head was successfully completed.
Access to the summit will reopen today.
‘The existing top ladder and staples were replaced and two new additional ladders were installed.’
The announcement was made on Thursday, 13 July. However, the new ladders and staples needed to dry before they could be used.
The area was therefore cordoned off for safety purposes for the time being.
