As the countdown to the 2023/24 rugby season continues, tickets for the Stormers’ United Rugby Championship (URC) first fixtures go on sale today, and fans are encouraged to move quickly to ensure that they get the best seat in the house for all the action.

This year, the DHL Stormers will host the Vodacom Bulls and the Cell C Sharks in two massive year-end Summer Sundowner derbies at DHL Stadium, while the iconic stadium will also play host to the likes of Leinster, Ulster and Edinburgh in the new season.
Now in its 23rd season, the league will kick off on Saturday, 21 October, with six games taking place, followed by a further two on 22 October.

The DHL Stormers will feature in the first derby of the year as they travel to Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg to face the Emirates Lions.
Vodacom URC champions Munster will begin their title defence on Saturday when they host the Cell C Sharks from Durban at 5:5pm in Thomond Park.
The first fixture of the regular season’s 144 games will come from Italy when Ulster travel to face Zebre Parma, before Connacht host the Ospreys at the same time that the Emirates Lions and DHL Stormers contest the first derby of the year.
However, Stormers’ fans wanting to enjoy home games will have to wait a week before the Western Cape outfit face the Scarlets in Stellenbosch on 28 October before playing their second home game at the Danie Craven Stadium against Zebre Parma on Saturday, 2 December.
The URC will eventually make its way to the Mother City just before Christmas when the Stormers play another South African derby against the Bulls on 23 December, this will be followed by their outing against the Sharks a week later.
The public can also still purchase new season tickets from Ticketpro, and information on how to do so is posted on the Stormers website and social media channels.
The Party Stand (South) at DHL Stadium will be available for just R1 600 per ticket, and the Faithful Stand on the touchline near the halfway line in the East and West stands are just R3 999 each. The Family Stand (North) is an alcohol-free area with a special deal for four season tickets (two for adults and two for children under the age of 18) for just R3 200, followed by R1 600 per ticket after that.
