The ISPMF serves as a scholarly society encompassing scientists involved in plant molecular farming worldwide, boasting a membership exceeding 100 individuals. Its primary mission is to foster academic dialogue and advance this dynamic domain.
Distinguished keynote speakers slated for the event include Eun-Ju Sohn, CEO of BioApp (South Korea); Yuri Gleba, CEO of Nomad BioSciences (Germany); and Ed Rybicki, Director of the Biopharming Research Unit (South Africa).
This marks the inaugural occasion of the conference being held outside of Europe. At its essence, plant molecular farming harnesses plant biotechnology to produce valuable proteins, peptides, and small molecules.
The conference agenda will feature an interactive workshop tailored for second- and third-year science undergraduates, introducing them to the realm of plant molecular pharming. Esteemed international scientists will impart their expertise, igniting inspiration among the forthcoming generation of researchers.
