According to EWN, the electricity in parts of the CBD and surrounding areas has been restored after being left without power for a good couple of hours on Saturday.
Spokesperson Isaac Mangena said these outages have offered opportunities for vandals and thieves to target their operations. Eskom has confirmed that loadshedding will continue at stage 2 until Monday morning, 14 March.
Theft and vandalism also played a part in leaving residents without power for days.
