The Fire and Rescue Service rendered medical assistance to an adult female that collapsed after allegedly suffering seizures this morning [May 10]. The authorities were seen outside Balmoral in Salt River Main road.
“We received it as a collapse – female being unresponsive,” said Jermaine Carelse, spokesperson for the City’s Fire and Rescue Service.
They managed to stabilize the patient. “She refused further treatment when Metro ambulance personnel arrived on scene,” Carelse added. She signed a release form.
She has not been identified and the cause of the seizures is unknown.
