When you read ‘acrobranching’ a certain picture may spring to mind of foofy-sliding above a canopy of trees. What differentiates you from the tree-swinging Tarzan is the attachment of zip lines, making it a safe, thrilling experience.
Acrobranching provides you with a similar experience, but with a bit of a twist. Variety is the name of the game where participants should expect a fair share of zip-lining on their adventures but should also anticipate some tricky obstacles along the way. Expect anything from climbing up high ropes and ladders, traipsing along walkways and swing bridges, and of course, swinging from tree to tree.
While specifically catered toward adrenaline junkies and those looking for an action-packed day, safety is of paramount importance at Acrobranching. All equipment is designed to European standards and tested by experts.
The programmes on offer are age-dependent and according to the level of difficulty you are most comfortable with. The yellow course, comprising of two zip lines and a swing bridge, is designed for children and those who are a little height conscious.
The green course is geared toward the more daring with its moving planks, Tarzan swings and a 60 m zip line – choose between the easy or hard route if you’re still feeling a little frightened.
If you’re the ultimate adrenaline junkie, then the blue course is just for you! Bound to test out just how courageous you really are, the course has several obstacles that include the Rope Bridge and Criss Cross Tangle.
So come on along for a thrilling adventure with the family.
