The Springboks took on Wales this morning in the second semi-final game of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

The game was played in the Yokohama International Stadium. In the first half the Boks and Wales were even at 3-3 by the 18th minute. Our boys were up by 3-6 by the 20th minute. By half-time, the score was 6-9 to us.

In the intense second half, the score was 9-9 until Damian de Allende scored an impressive try, followed by a successful conversion by Handre Pollard, leaving the score at 9-16 to the Boks by the 58th minute.

65 minutes in and the score was once again even at 16-16.

By the 76th minute, Pollard slotted the penalty, bringing the score to 16-19 to the Boks. In the final 4 nail-biting minutes, the Boks secured their win.

The Springboks will be playing England in the final on Saturday November 2.
