MSI has announced that its gaming handheld Claw has been given a major performance boost, resulting in a smoother mobile gaming experience.

The leading brand in gaming, content creation, and business and productivity laptops released the Claw in March this year. Since then, the handheld has undergone internal testing and updates to optimise the performance of the Claw.
The new E1T41IMS.106 BIOS (referred to as 106) and 31.0.101.5445 GPU driver (referred to as 5445) for the MSI Claw boasts up to 150% increase in gaming performance.
As a result, the updated BIOS and GPU drivers now enable the Claw to play the top 100 games on Steam smoothly.
According to internal tests, the open-world horror game 7 Days to Die saw performance increases of up to 150%. Other popular games, including Monster Hunter World and Cyberpunk 2077, saw improvements of more than 50%.

Consumers can download the latest BIOS from MSI’s official website and the latest GPU drivers from the Intel ARC official website.
Devices equipped with BIOS 106 can be updated directly within Windows without an additional flash drive or docking station. BIOS update methods are available in the update instructions in the BIOS file.
‘To continuously improve user experience, MSI is actively working with Intel to optimize the performance of the Claw,’ MSI said in a statement.
‘We believe that with each update to the BIOS, GPU drivers, and the built-in gaming intermediary software, MSI Center M, the Claw will offer a more stable and smoother gaming experience.’
