From fine dining to more casual establishments, we’re spoilt for choice with the endless supply of restaurants dotted around the Mother City offering us Capetonians a taste of the rest of the world without leaving home.
Nothing says soul food quite like the cooking of America’s Deep South. Southern-style cuisine is arguably one of the most comforting types of cuisine you’ll find.

Louise & Anna bring southern cooking to Cape Town with its Louisana-inspired creole dishes. A hearty menu as true to the Deep South as its unrivalled hospitality. You’ll find lip-smacking dishes such as shrimp and grits, gumbo, jambalaya, a seafood boil and banoffee pie, among others. Maple syrup is encouraged and goes on almost everything.

The homely ambience and design of the restaurant are true reflections of southern culture. A dining experience for the whole family to enjoy.

Louise & Anna opened its doors in August last year in the lovely Eden on the Bay beachfront area in Bloubergstrand.
