Hosted at The Listening Room on 196 Victoria in Woodstock, Thursday Nights promise a blend of food, art, music and wine. The ambiance is set for an evening filled with beautiful music from around the globe, accompanied by Plushi platters and curated wines.

Table bookings are not necessary for this casual dining experience. Guests are encouraged to explore The Gallery’s exhibition, soak in the beauty of the Courtyard, and find their preferred spot at one of the many tables around the venue.

The music begins at 6pm and continues until midnight in The Listening Room. Vinyl selectors, including Boshate, Densen, DJ Kaza and DJ Phanny, will be sharing their favourite records each week, ensuring you are entertained from the start to the very end of your evening.

The Listening Room provides a unique space for guests to truly sit back and appreciate music. Record covers will be on display, allowing you to explore the curated selection playing throughout the evening. While dancing is optional, it is never frowned upon, creating an atmosphere where you can let loose or just enjoy the melodies.
Behind The Listening Room is Michael Blake, driven by a passion for exquisite music and audio. Established in Durban in 1994, the Cape Town branch at 196 Victoria has opened its doors in recent years.
The goal is simple – to give music lovers the chance to experience some of the world’s best audio sound without the need for an immediate purchase.
