Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis rewarded K9 officer Khalesi from the Metro Police K9 Unit with treats after she assisted in a successful drug bust at Cape Town International Airport on Tuesday, where cocaine worth millions was found hidden in poultry boxes in a shipping container in Airport Industria.

On Tuesday, the City said its metro police K9, Khalesi, assisted the SAPS in locating the drug consignment, which was worth an undisclosed amount. After inspecting the container, metro police K9 members were called in, and K9 Khalesi gave a positive indication of the presence of drugs.
Along with the video, Mayor Hill-Lewis posted the following message:
K9 Officer ‘Khalesi’ from the Metro Police K9 Unit deserves major treats after she made a MASSIVE drug bust at Cape Town Airport yesterday!
I met her this morning to say thanks and give her a steak breakfast.
