Three suspects were arrested along Tafelberg road on Thursday, November 4 in connection with a spate of recent car break-ins. The trio was arrested when SANParks Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) rangers, Metro police and the SAPS were conducting patrols along the road.
According to SANParks, a case has been opened at the Central police station in Cape Town, and officers are currently investigating the case to see if the three suspects can be linked to the car break-ins at the mountain.

Meanwhile, in an unrelated incent the body of a 59-year-old Fish Hoek mother was discovered below a look-out point on Chapman’s Peak on Wednesday, November 4. According to several reports, Susanna “Soekie” Rademeyer Jacobs and her daughter, Melissa Jacobs, 26, were reported missing on Friday, October 29.
Melissa’s body was then found washed up on Noordhoek Beach two days later, IOL reported.
