If you’ve been daydreaming of embarking on a Table Mountain Cableway adventure to fully experience the beauty of Cape Town, then you’ll be stoked about this opportunity! But you might have to get your hands dirty…
South Africans, along with the rest of the world, will band together to celebrate #TakeAHike Day on November 17 and the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway is part of the festivities. This is the second year they are taking part after the huge success last year!
Here are the details:
- Start your hike at Platteklip Gorge, where you will receive a bag to collect any litter you see on your hike up Table Mountain.
- Make your way up Platteklip Gorge.
- Once on the summit, empty your trash in bins and grab a refreshment.
- Use the hashtag #TakeAHikeWithTableMountain while hiking, so they can see you on your adventure.
- Hikers who assist with the mountain clean-up will get a free trip down Table Mountain in their cable car.
