All the rooms are newly renovated and equipped with tea & coffee making facilities, as well as a wood-burning fireplace to keep you cosy and warm during a winter-stay.
The accommodation comprises of 10 en-suite rooms, three self-catering one bedroom cottages and three self-catering family cottages with two en suite rooms each for family groups or friends sharing (voted by Getaway in 2018 & 2019 as their top venue for group gatherings & celebrations).
There are stunning hiking- and mountain-biking trails amongst the fynbos and a large dam perfect for a swim and picnic. Their neighbours are the well-known Raka wine farm and award-winning Kleinriver cheese farm, and only a five minute drive away is the picturesque village of Stanford.
In addition to the majestic mountain views, the breathtaking natural beauty and tranquil surrounds, this unique guest farm is home to the acclaimed Manor House Restaurant which features in the 2019 Gourmet Guide as part of South Africa’s top 75 restaurants. Serving delectable , modern-country cooking prepared by a talented team of chefs, it is equally well-known for its unique mid-century modern décor and eclectic art collection. Menu items are sourced from the farm’s own organic vegetable gardens, as well as local artisan producers, and the menu is constantly updated with seasonal produce. Sustainable fish dishes and vegan/vegetarian offerings always available.
Open for breakfast daily, lunch and dinner from Thursday to Saturday, and lunch on Sunday. Also open for group bookings (minimum 15) any other day of the week.
