Launched in 2022, Green Riders employs over 1 000 young South Africans, providing them with jobs delivering fast food and goods using eco-friendly e-bikes.
The project aims to create 50 000 jobs for youth over the next five years, offering training and employment opportunities in the growing delivery sector.

South Africa faces a major challenge of youth unemployment, with over 4.7 million young people out of work. Green Riders is bridging this gap by providing training programmes and employment opportunities without requiring a motorbike licence, making it accessible to more young people.
