We’re not sure if it’s the magic of the stone water fountain or the influence of the greenery; either way, the zen ambience blocks out all the noise, making it an ideal space to get some work done.
There’s ample seating all over, with cosy couches inside and an airy courtyard surrounding a large stone water fountain. Not to mention an array of wholesome goodies to dig into including smoothie bowls, hot breakfast options, light meals and lip-smacking but healthy sweet treats.

A boutique coffee shop and micro roastery overlooking Surfers Corner in Muizenberg equipped with just the right balance of surf and coffee culture.
With the fragrant scent of freshly-brewed coffee in the air and tasteful black and white framed photos of surfing, beaches and the ocean, it’s the ideal place to get some work in while soaking in views of the nearby ocean.

The lounge has plug points and free Wi-Fi, which is pretty much all you need for a successful work day, right? The cafe opens with the first cable car up and closes 15 minutes before the last car down.
While you’re there, you can snack on muffins, scones, sandwiches, and plenty of hot and cold beverages on offer to keep you fuelled up as you get your work done. Or opt for a glass of ice-cold Newlands Spring Beer at TAP – Table Mountain Aerial Cableway’s latest addition.
You’ll have to pay to use the cableway (or, if you’re so inclined, throw in a hike before and after) but it’s worth it for the view alone.
