The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway is excited to announce the launch of its new birthday month special. This is an extension of its current birthday offering, which allows anyone to redeem a free cable car ride in the calendar month of their birthday.
Previously, the birthday months special allowed residents 18 and older to go up the cablecar for free on your birthday and the week thereafter. Now, this special has been made valid all month long.
“Collect and redeem your free birthday Cableway ticket on any day of the calendar month in which your birthday falls – for example: visitors born in October can collect and redeem their free birthday ticket on any day in October (even if it’s before your actual birthday),” the Cableway said via its Facebook.
“You cannot redeem your free birthday ticket the month following your birthday – for example: anyone born on 31 October cannot use their birthday ticket in November.”
Tickets are only available to South African citizens or permanent residents, and you will need to present a valid South African ID, driver’s license or birth certificate on arrival.
“We look forward to celebrating your Birthday Month with you on the summit!” it said.
