Mountain bikers in the Western Cape are in for a real treat with the launch of the super trail regional permit, allowing thrill-seekers to explore world-class trails in areas ranging from Grabouw, Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Jonkershoek, Paarl, Wellington and Franschhoek.
The regional permit was launched by the Winelands Cycling Club, Stellenbosch Trail Fund (STF), MTO (Jonkershoek) and Winelands Trails, and allows for access to over 700 km of mountain bike trails (Wine Lands Cycling Club, A2Z, Helderberg trials, Stellenbosch Trail Fund, MTO Jonkershoek, Banhoek Conservancy, Franschhoek trails, Paarl trails and Wellington Wild boar and scouts).
Membership will be valid from December 1 2021 to December 31 2022.
Cost:
- Adult Board 19 – 64 years – cost of annual membership R1500
- Junior Board < 18 years – cost of annual membership R1250
- Senior board > 65 years – cost of annual membership R1250
“We have increased the collection points of your membership board. When taking out your membership, you will be required to select a pickup point for your board collection as per the options below.
“You will be required to take your membership confirmation letter with you in order collect your board (You can only collect your board at the collection point you selected which will also be stated on your confirmation letter),” the website explains.
