The much anticipated Cape Town Carnival is back with a new carnival experience. Five unique carnival hubs, five locations and five diverse shows for a joyful celebration of being reunited.
The Carnival brings a joyful and creative scenery that promises to bring the City to life once more. Giving guests the opportunity to catch up with friends, family and the beautiful city of Cape Town.
Instead of a single Carnival that moves along the street, you get moving between their five unique Carnival hubs, bursting to life with music, song, dance, art and more. For the first time ever, you curate your Carnival experience.
The streets connecting the five hubs will turn the city into a place of COVID-safe celebration. You can expect surprises when you support local businesses, restaurants, and art galleries.
Venues include Greenmarket Square, Heritage Square, the SA National Museum, Hartfield Street and the National Gallery.
