If you’re searching for a cup above the rest then look no further than Table Mountain Cableway’s recently launched (Very) High Tea at the summit of South Africa’s New 7 Wonder of Nature.

Hosted in the trendy Cableway Wi-Fi Lounge, a venue offering free Wi-Fi access and panoramic views of the Mother City, the Very High Tea has a mouth-watering selection of sweet treats and savoury mouthfuls to accompany a selection of Twinings tea, local coffee and MCC.

“Our team of Cableway chefs have taken the time to develop a menu that merges traditional English bites with some favourite South African flavours,” says Cableway Food and Beverage Executive Manager Eugene Labuschagne.

From Salmon Trout Pannequet, Lentil Bobotie Bites and Blue Cheese and Pickled Pear Puffs to Lemon Meringue Tartlets and Peanut Butter Brownie Cheesecake, let the Cableway’s Very High Tea take your taste buds on a delicious adventure that’s as good for the tummy as it is for the soul.

The Very High Tea is served Mondays to Sundays, weather permitting and subject to reservation, at 14h30 and costs R325 per person, excluding your Cableway ticket. Return tickets can be purchased online from tablemountain.net or from the Lower Station Ticket Office.

The Cableway caters for various dietary requirements. Very High Tea reservations are limited to 20 people per seating.
