Cape {town} Etc, in partnership with the Galileo Open Air Cinema, is giving away two tickets to this year’s season launch, a night that promises to deliver spine-tingling thrills beneath the stars.
On Tuesday, 31 October 2023, the typically tranquil gardens of Kirstenbosch will undergo a hair-raising transformation, embracing a spooky ambience, lively tunes and an atmosphere that’s sure to send shivers down your spine.
Falling on Halloween, this season will launch with a screening of Scream, the 1996 American teen slasher film that adds a darkly comedic twist to its sinister storyline.

Celebrated as one of the all-time greatest horror movies, this bone-chilling masterpiece features a cast including David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, Matthew Lillard, Rose McGowan, Skeet Ulrich and Drew Barrymore.
A masked psychopath, known as Ghostface, terrorises a quiet town, methodically targeting high school students.
