10 January: 13 Going on 30
Jennifer Garner stars in the 2004 American fantasy romantic comedy 13 Going on 30, which tells the story of Jenna Rink, a teenager who makes an unusual birthday wish. Her wish is granted miraculously, and Jenna, then 13, wakes up the next day as a 30-year-old woman.

11 January: The Shawshank Redemption
The Shawshank Redemption is a 1994 classic American drama film based on Stephen King’s 1982 novel of the same name. The film follows banker Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins), who is sentenced to life in prison for the murders of his wife and her lover, despite his claims of innocence.
Over the next two decades, he befriends a fellow inmate, contraband smuggler Ellis ‘Red’ Redding (Morgan Freeman), and becomes involved in a money laundering scheme led by prison warden Samuel Norton (Bob Gunton).

12 January: Elemental
Elemental is an animated romantic comedy-drama film released in 2023 by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios.
The story follows Ember (the fire element) and Wade (the water element) in a city where residents of fire, water, land and air coexist. Following on from where the fire and water elements meet and fall in love after the water element is summoned to a plumbing accident at a convenience store.

13 January: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
The romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, was released in 2003.
In the film, advertising executive Benjamin Barry wagers that he can make any woman fall in love with him, while women’s magazine writer Andie Anderson plans to write an article about how she dumped her boyfriend, putting them at odds after they chose each other as romantic partners. Andie employs several of the dating ‘don’ts’ from the picture book in her attempts to break up with Ben.
